NJ State Trooper Shot UPDATE - Suicide Suspected (PHOTO)

New Jersey State Trooper Scott Graham was found dead Wednesday morning on the Garden State Parkway in Wall Township. The 35-year-old Graham was found by another law enforcement officer who was passing by shortly after 7:30 Wednesday morning. Graham was in a marked patrol car, according to the Associated Press.

The Yeshiva World News is reporting that Graham's death was a suicide: "Sources confirm to YWN that a NJ State Trooper has taken his own life, Wednesday morning, on the Garden State Parkway."

Police tell the AP Graham had a single gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. State Police Sgt. Stephen Jones says the circumstances surrounding the death are under investigation, but Jones says officers are not searching for any vehicles or suspects, another aspect of the story that points to suicide.

Graham graduated from the state police academy in 2001 and had been a trooper for 10 years. He leaves behind a wife and three young children. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
