On an episode that saw Kasey up and get a tattoo to prove his affection to a woman he barely knows, as well as a pathetic weatherman trying to serenade the bachelorette in a last ditch effort for a rose, we did get treated to a concert by Joshua Radin.
Kasey, the 27-year-old advertising executive from California, scored a one-on-one date and he and Ali Fedotowsky explored the Museum of Natural History by flashlight. It was here that Kasey revealed his cheesy side, busting out into song and continually vowing to "guard and protect Ali's heart."
"I can honestly say, at this point, I choose to be here for you. I choose you and I hope that one day you can choose me," Kasey said. "I told you in the very beginning. I'm here to guard and protect your heart."
"Parts of it doesn't seem genuine to me," Ali told him. "So, I can't give you a rose tonight, but I don't want you to leave either."
Ali didn't send Kasey home, but she didn't give him a rose either. Kasey took this criticism extremely hard and did what any normal person would do: he went out and got a tattoo on his wrist of a heart being protected by a shield.
Ali's second one-on-one date was with 33-year-old with Chris L., a landscaper from Massachusetts. Feeling under the weather, the date started with Chris arriving with flowers and chicken noodle soup where Chris L. opened up and talked about the passing of his mother. The date ended with a roof-top performance by singer Joshua Radin.
In the end, Kasey was too shy to reveal his lame tattoo to Ali – buying him another week in crazytown, while the weatherman was sent home in tears. Who will win Ali's heart?
