Crashes in a Steep L.A. Ravine

A Mercedes Benz SUV belonging to Charlie Sheen has been found crashed in a steep ravine near his home in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

Police received a 911 call around 4 a.m. reporting that the car was down a cliff off Mulholland Drive.

Around the same time, Sheen, 44, called to report that his SUV had been stolen, the Associated Press reports.

Local L.A. ABC7 TV station shows the vehicle upside-down about 100 feet down a brush-covered ravine.

Police are currently searching the hillside for potential crash victims, but they have no evidence that anybody was in the car when it went over the edge, according to the AP.

"Reports concerning a stolen car belonging to Charlie Sheen are accurate," his rep tells UsMagazine.com. "Charlie is fine, and the police are investigating."1265383702_charlie-290.jpg
