Luge who died video available and violent. The luge death video has been popular since Friday, when the violent death of Nodar Kumaritashvili, a 21 year old Georgian luger, was captured on tape. Kumaritashvili was training for the men’s luge event at the 2010 Winter Olympics when he lost control of his sled, flew threw the air, and hit an unpadded pole.

Since then, controversy over what caused his death has ensued. Olympic officials have declared the death due to “human error”, although they made changes to the track to slow things down a bit.
Many think that if the death was 100% human error as stated, the officials wouldn’t have shortened the starting point and made changes to the turn where the luger lost control.

Nodar is only the third Olympian to die during training. The first two died during the 1964 games, which is ironically when the event of luging had its inaugural year.

Other lugers have shown sympathy, where as some are upset about the changes made to the track. A woman luger from Germany said that the track was now a “child’s Race.” Canadians complained that the changes took away their “home field advantage.”

The Whistler track is very advanced. Prior to the changes made after the luge who died video event took place, speeds of 96 mph were clocked on the track. This is way in excess of what it should be.
