Synopsis of the episode: Even though Stan and Kyle have been friends for years, it doesn’t mean anything if Stan won’t “friend” him. Kyle “friended” the wrong person so now all his other friends are deserting him left and right. With his problem getting worse by the minute, Kyle turns to the one person who’s always been there for him. In this episode Kyle makes the friendship with a wrong person. With this friendship the things start getting worst that also includes leaving of his friends. Kyle starts turning to the person who always stood with him through thick and thin. Cartman while standing in the Kyle’s house claims that he has more friends than Kyle on the Facebook. This claim stuns him as he has only 37 friends while Kenny has 63 friends. Kyle asks Stan about his friends but Stan does not want to use Facebook. Kyle tries to convince Stan to use face book and tells Stan that he can play Yahtzee and own a farm through face book. Stan wants to play video games instead of Yahtzee. Stan was told by Kyle that they made him a face book page but still he tells Kyle that he wants to play Xbox.
The basic idea behind this episode is for kids to join the Facebook but Stan wants to tell his friends that it is not necessary that they should tell the world about their thinking of every minute. He wants to tell that the people they make friends on the Facebook are not the true friends. Kids should go outside for play real games and meet each other face to face instead of messaging each other through this mean of interaction. The virtual world of the Facebook takes the real world of the Kyle and his feelings get hurt all around due to which many problems are created in his life.
