Tournament - Sweet 16: Xavier University Beating Kansas St.
The No. 2-ranked Kansas State Wildcats trail No. 6 Xavier University 32-31 at halftime Thursday night in the Sweet 16 matchup of the 2010 NCAA Basketball Tournament.
The winner of this game moves on to the Elite Eight to play No. 5-seeded Butler University in the West Regional Saturday. Butler advanced Thursday night after upsetting No. 1-ranked Syracuse, 63-59.
At one point, K-State was up 15 points on the Musketeers; however, Xavier rallied to take the lead with 47 seconds remaining in the half.
Kansas State's Jaco Pullen continues his strong play in the tournament, scoring 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting from the floor.Terrell Holloway has a game-high 11 points for the Musketeers, nailing two 3-pointers.
The Wildcats advanced to the Sweet 16 following wins against No. 15 North Texas and No. 7 Brigham Young University.
Meanwhile, Xavier's road to the semifinals went through No. 11 Minnesota and No. 3 Pittsburgh.
