'Fire Nancy Pelosi' is Rally Cry from Michael Steele After HR 3590 Passes in House
Fire Nancy Pelosi? Michael Steele wants to fire Nancy Pelosi after HR 3590 passed. Michael Steele, upset with Pelosi and HR 3590, has called for voters to fire Nancy Pelosi, and has taken to the GOP web site, as well
as to online petitions in order to try and further his agenda. It's not a surprising act by Steele after the House of Representatives decided to pass HR 3590, and a typical response from the Republican Party during these trying times. Rather than address the concerns of someone from his party yelling out 'baby killer' during the House debate, he decided to go back on the attack, just a day after Republican sponsored Tea Party rallies that threw homophobic and racist remarks at Representatives.
Michael Steele is the Republican National Committee Chairman, and when he issues a statement, people tend to really listen to what he has to say. He speaks for the entire Republican Party, and after the vote on HR 3590 took place, he had some really choice words for not just House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, but for voters and President Obama as well.
Michael Steele stated that, "It is time to fire Nancy Pelosi and send a message to President Obama that it's time to stop their partisan liberal agenda of government takeovers and start working for Americans to create jobs and grow our economy."
It's not surprising that Michael Steele is against the House Resolution that just passed through, and it is also well within his right to state that he does not support the Speaker of the House (who is a Democrat). The obvious intentions of his statements though, are to create press that he can point to later on, rather than actually addressing issues within his own party. Michael Steele, the American People would like to hear what you intend to do about one of your representatives shouting out 'baby killer' during an official session of the House? Anything? Or will it be brushed under the rug because it might make you look bad?
