Didi Benami Got Eliminated From ‘American Idol’ 9 In Round 6 Tonight

Didi Benami got eliminated from “American Idol” 9 in round 6 tonight. Ryan Seacrest kicked off the show by introducing the judges and contestants. Then “American Idol” season 2 winner Ruben Studdard performed his new song entitled, ” Don’t Make ‘Em Like U No More.” Afterwards, he talked with Ryan for a little bit to lead into the first break. After the first break, they showed another Ford music video that the “American Idol” contestants made.

Then Ryan revealed that Katie Stevens was in the bottom three this week to lead into the 2nd break. After the 2nd break, Ryan talked with popstar Justin Bieber who was sitting in the audience. Then R&B star Usher performed his new song entitled,

“Oh My Gosh” live with Will.I.Am from the “Black Eyed Peas” to lead into the 3rd break. After the 3rd break, Ryan revealed that Didi Benami and Tim Urban were in the

bottom three this week. Then Ryan quickly revealed that Katie Stevens was safe this week to lead into the 4th break.
After the 4th break, P Diddy performed his new single entitled, “Hello Good Morning.” Afterwards, Diddy gave the judges and Ryan a hug,and talked with Ryan for a little bit to lead into the final break. After the final break, Ryan revealed that Tim Urban was safe and that Didi Benami was in danger of going home if she didn’t earn the judges one “save” for the season. She sang a song to try and earn their one “save” for the season. Then Simon revealed that they would not save her,but said her performance was way better than what she did last night. To conclude, they showed an emotional video montage of her time on the show. So with that being said, Didi Benami got eliminated from “American Idol” season 9 in round 6.It was another week with no save on "American Idol." Didi Benami's ride to potential stardom screeched to a halt Wednesday night (March 31) when even a strong reprise of her signature Fleetwood Mac cover wasn't enough to keep her in the game. The action-packed hour featured performances from Usher, season-two "Idol" champ Ruben Studdard and Diddy-Dirty Money, as well as a visit from Justin Bieber, but all eyes were on the top 10, as nearly half the finalists were potential bottom-three fodder after an uneven night of R&B performances on Tuesday.
It's on to the next one, though, for Lee Dewyze, Casey James, Aaron Kelly and Siobhan Magnus, who survived after her wobbly take on Chaka Khan's "Through the Fire" elicited a thumbs-down across the board from the judges. Also safe were Crystal Bowersox, Andrew Garcia and Michael Lynche, who celebrated his luck with a near body slam of Ryan Seacrest after the host tried to fake him out.
