Sunan International Airport: Pyongyang, North Korea News – The main airport in Pyongyang, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. The Airport has 2 runways, 01/19 is the largest which used mainly for international flights and the second runway is 17/35 used for domestic and civil flights.
Sunan International Airport is the main hub of Air Koryo. On August 2006, an aircraft from Air Koryo scheduled passenger flight from Beijing Capital Airport to Pyongyang, North Korea “Sunan International Airport” experienced a runway accident.
