NCAA Bracket Update - NCAA Basketball Tournament 2010: Kansas Jayhawks Beat Lehigh!

The No. 1 ranked Kansas Jayhawks put together a strong second half to pull away from No. 16 Lehigh University to win 90-74 in the opening round of the NCAA Basketball Tournament 2010.

The NCAA bracket update is as follows: Kansas advances to the second round in the Midwest Region and play No. 9 seed Northern Iowa.

A balanced offensive attack helped the Jayhawks best the Mountain Hawks, as five player finished with at least 10 points. Kansas' Marcus Morris tied for the game-high in points scored with 26 and 11 rebounds, followed by Sherron Collins with 18.With about one second left, Quincy Pondexter made a game-winning layup to give the No. 11 ranked Washington Huskies a narrow 80-78 upset up the No. 6 Marquette Golden Eagles in the first round of the NCAA Basketball Tournament 2010 Thursday.
The NCAA bracket update as follows: Washington moves on to play No. 3 seed New Mexico, who defeated No. 14 Montana Thursday.
Isaiah Thomas scored a team-high 19 points with eight assists for Washington, while teammate Pondexter finished with 18 and 11 boards. In the loss, Lazar Hayward score 20 points and Darius Johnson-Odom with 19.
