The Chelsea Clinton wedding location has been revealed. Clinton will marry fiance Marc Mezvinsky in Rhinebeck, New York on July 31 of this year.
Of course, this is still information from an anonymous source, but it makes sense based on everything we have learned so far about the Clinton/Mezvinsky nuptials. The wedding is supposed to take place at a private residence just outside of the village.
Rhinebeck is about two hours north of New York City. So far there has been no official comment from the Clinton camp about the location of their daughter’s wedding.
I know that Chelsea Clinton has been keeping the details of her wedding somewhat private. Word is that people who are invited will get a personal call from the wedding coordinator a week before the wedding letting them know the location details. This is likely because Chelsea Clinton is the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.
I imagine that she would prefer for her wedding to not turn into a media zoo. Plus, there are many security measures that have to be taken as well. Unfortunately, due to the fact that she is a former first daughter, the media is likely to show up and try to crash the wedding.
Interestingly, Al and Tipper Gore will not be attending the wedding. There is no official word on if their absence has anything to do with their divorce. Al Gore, obviously, was the Vice President when Bill Clinton was President. They did, however, issue a statement wishing her happiness.
What do you think? Should the wedding be veiled in all this secrecy? It may just be adding fuel to the fire from what I can tell.
