The two-year-old started smoking when his dad, Mohammad, gave him a cigarette stick at 18 months.Ardi’s mom, Diana, feels helpless saying: “He’s totally addicted. If he doesn’t get cigarettes, he gets angry and screams and batters his head against the wall. He tells me he feels dizzy and sick.”The 2-year-old even has a brand preference and will only smoke the premium packs that cost £3.78 per day.
To help curb the kid’s habit, the Indonesian government is offering to buy Ardi’s family a car if they get their kid to stop smoking.
Mohammad doesn’t see a problem with Ardi smoking, though. “He looks pretty healthy to me. I don’t see the problem,” said Mohammad.
