The featured UFC 114 MMA match between Rashad Evans vs. Rampage Jackson ended in a lopsided win for one fighter despite the hype of the event. Rashad Evans went on to a unanimous decision in the UFC 114 main event with Rampage Jackson losing on all three judges scorecards.
Early in the first round of the Rampage Jackson vs. Rashad Evans main event, Evans landed a huge strike which sent Jackson wobbling across the cage. Jackson recovered and was repeatedly taken down in the first round. The second round was once again controlled by Evans with the wrestler pushing Jackson against the cage repeatedly.
The third round saw Jackson catch Evans and put him on his back. A flurry of punches ensued but Evans was able to withstand the punches and get back to his feet. Evans later secured several take downs to earn the victory.
Jackson was attributing his loss to ring rust and asked for a rematch. Jackson will be starring in the movie based on the popular television series 'The A-Team' which will hit theaters in June.
