The excitement about the product got the people including the journalist hooked to the web on the related blogs. The program was watched eagerly by the Chattanooga retailers and consumers together as Steve Jobs, CEO, Apple unveiled the most awaited product to the world.
Some stores reportedly received enquiries about the product even before the ceremony was getting over. Priced between $499 and $829, the new Apple iPod has been brought out in six eye catching flavors. Jeff Sisk, Manager, Mac Authority is too keen to have the product on the shelf as he is getting lots of Apple fans visiting his stall and trying to get more info on the new product.
He feels that the $499 pricing is very competitive and may get more customers in the queue. He is in favor of having a good stock of the iPad. Computers Plus man Spencer Charlesworth had a few doubts if the newly manufactured goods will be as competitive as the demo piece of the Apple iPad. He wanted the device to work on the Snow Leopard rather than the iPhone software. During the unveiling ceremony the store reportedly got numerous calls for the orders.
