Haiti Earthquake 2010: Update with live news And Video

Few people have suffered more than the Haitians in previous years, and today’s earthquake is the worst Haiti has seen. The nation is one of the poorest on the planet and they now need help more than ever.

The best place for Haiti Earthquake updates and live news is in this live blog on Times Online or read the latest Tweets on Twitter. We are hearing that around 3-million people are affected, which is nearly one-third of the population.

Pope Benedict XVI has expressed his sadness and said the Haiti Earthquake has resulted in a “huge loss of human life”. He also appealed to the generosity of people to help those who are suffering greatly.

France and Britain have already started to send aid, and many other countries join them. Rescue workers and two aircraft with aid supplies are on the way from France, and Gordon Brown has sent a team to Haiti that will to see how the UK can best help.

Feel free to leave your views about the Haiti Earthquake in the comments, and any updates you may have.
