According to the latest WKYC and Fox 8 updates,majority of schools were being shut down today in Northeast Ohio region in Cleveland due to bad weather conditions.

The students gets their day-off from their academic chores as a Snow warning was issued in the early hours of Monday morning.According to the press reports 2-4 inches of Snow is being said to have struck the area.

According to WKYC, it’s a mix of light snow and frigid 19 degree that has forced the authorities to shut down the majority of schools in that region.The Northeast area of Ohio is under weather alert till 7PM EST today.

Here is the detailed list of the Schools being shut down today:

Redwood Elementary School, Aurora City Schools, Bethel Baptist Christian Academy, Valley Christian Academy-Aurora, CARE Christian Academy, Northfield Baptist School, All Saints of St John Vianney, Andrews Osborne Academy, Auburn Career Center, and Cleveland Inst Den Med Asst-Mentor.
