Ephesians 2:8-10: Tim Tebow chooses for Sugar Bowl Video

The Bible verse chosen by Florida quarterback Tim Tebow always gets ample attention on the Internet.
Ephesians 2:8-10 is Tim Tebow's choice for his final college football game.

Tebow, Florida's star quarterback, is leading the Gators against Cincinnati in tonight's Allstate Sugar Bowl.

Tebow, who is deeply religious, all this year has been putting a different Bible verse on his eye black for Florida's games. Tonight he chose Ephesians 2:8-10.

The Bible verses have attracted much notice. NOLA.com reports that Tebow's choice for last season's BCS Championship game against Oklahoma -- John 3:16 -- had 93 million Google searches over the next 24 hours.

That trend has continued this year, with Tebow's selected verse typically topping the Google Trends list during and after the game.

Here is the meaning of Ephesians 2:8-10, according to BibleGateway.com: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Tebow told NOLA.com that the tradition of putting a Bible verse on his eye black has "gained more and more momentum and steam" and "now it’s just got a life of its own."

Tebow said he got ample advice from fans about what verse to choose for his final game tonight.
